You might think that a journal is simply another word for a diary– a blank book where you can write down all of your secrets, thoughts, and “things that happened today”.
Of course this is one way to journal… but it might not be the right way for you.
While some people feel the process of writing everyday in a journal can be therapeutic, meditative, or calming… others might find the idea of keeping this type of journal to be tedious, boring, uninteresting, or even just a waste of time.
What if someone told you that a journal does not have to be kept everyday, or that you don’t even need to write anything at all if you don’t want to?
Would you be more interested in keeping a journal full of memories via pictures & ticket stubs? Or just filling up a blank book with random paintings, doodles, and collages?
This, too, is a form of journaling.
Visual journaling provides many benefits. The process is therapeutic, and there are so many types of visual journaling… as well as purposes.
Or perhaps you would be more likely to keep a planner-style notebook with different sections dedicated to upcoming appointments, lists, ideas, and/or tracking personal goals?
Maybe you already have something similar in your purse or on your desk, and never thought of it as a journal? Bullet journaling is a versatile and practical type of journaling that adds organization and clarity to the daily grind for many lifestyles.
For the sake of simplicity, let’s say this: there are many different ways to journal and I’d like to help you get started!
Better yet… I’d like to build you the PERFECT Journal and teach you how to use it!
The process of ordering a custom handmade journal begins with a “consultation” to determine how it will be used.
If needed, we will go through resources so you can learn more about the many different types of journaling and choose what best fits YOU.
More importantly, in this part of the process we will choose the right size, color/style, and inserts for your PERFECT journal.
These journals are Travelers Notebook style, which means the paper inserts can be removed and replaced as needed, eliminating that fear of “using it up”. Each journal includes a folder with pockets and 3 paper inserts*, with the option to add more.
In the end, you will receive a custom, handmade journal and be ready to use it in a way that works for you!!!
*Paper insert options include, but are not limited to: blank paper (white or colored), graph paper, lined paper, watercolor paper, manilla, mixed media paper, acrylic paper, “junk journal”, and more!
